Antique Corkscrew, Murphy's Straight Pull Corkscrew, Wine Bottle Opener
We have for sale an Antique Straight Pull Corkscrew
Wonderful antique corkscrew dating from the late 1800s. Known as a straight pull corkscrew it is adorned with a beautiful rosewood handle with acorn turned ends, the steel shaft leads down to the bladed worm (screw) with long sharp center point.
A Bladed worm is has a sharp outside edge the cuts easily through a cork.
Circa, 1880s
Measures, 5 ¾” tall, 4 ¼” wide at handle.
