We have for sale a Vintage Home Base Courier Royale CB Radio with an Astatic Microphone Model D104 Crystal
Wonderful 1965 home base CB / PA system radio accompanied with a Astatic Microphone Model D104 Crystal. This was the ultimate combo to have in the 1960s.
The radio was manufactured in 1965 by Courier, E.C.I., Electronics Communications of New York. Radio turns on and lights up no further testing has been done. It is a 23 channel Citizens Band Radio.
The microphone was manufacture by Astatic Corporation of Conneaut Ohio, has not been tested. Astatic introduced this microphone in the 1930s, the Astatic model D-104 was one of the best and most popular microphones that Astatic made. Astatic stopped production on this model in 2001.
Original owners name is etched on the back and inside the case.
Circa, 1960s
Measures, radio - 12½” x 8” x 5½” tall. Microphone – 12” tall.
Condition, Untested Sold AS IS. Radio has scuffs and scratches dent on top grate, Microphone has scuffs and scratches with chrome pitting.
