Vintage Brass Seedburo Sampling Probe, Grain Sampling Tool

Vintage Brass Seedburo Sampling Probe
Rare find this vintage Seedburo made by the Seedburo Equipment Company of Chicago ILL. This is a 20-Open Handle Dual-Tubed Probe with 6 openings and measures 40” long.
It is used for taking samples of dry foods, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, and other similar materials from large vats, most commonly used for taking grain samples from holding tanks.
This is an older model made of heavy solid brass, it measures 40” long (1,020mm) and 1-3/8” (34.9mm) diameter.
Designed with an inner tube that rotates for opening or closing sampling holes, and an open-ended handle to allow easy emptying of the tube.

The probe is used and has lots of wonderful patina on the brass, we have had to clean the inner shaft to maintain working quality, the inner shaft does have one ding on the second opening from top, this does not hamper the working ability of the probe.

Measures 40” long
Condition, nice used condition with minor scuffs and dings, fully functional.
