Antique 1900-1910 Triple L Logo Ball Fruit Jar with Zinc Lid, Blue Quart Size Jar
Wonderful find a true collector piece a Quart Ball Fruit Jar. The marking on this jar date to have been made between 1900-1910, it is known as a Triple L or 3-L logo design, the loop after the last (L) looks like another (L).
These jars were molded using a two-piece manufacturing method, the top threaded rim was placed onto the base while it was still molten glass. Also note is a low shoulder jar which also dates to the turn of the century.
This jar has wonderful bubbles and lines in the glass.
Circa, 1900-1910
Measures, 7” tall x 3 ¾” diameter.
Marked, Ball Mason
Condition, very good with no cracks, light scratches on outside and base, couple tiny flea bite chips on rim.
