1908, 46-Star American Flag with Sewn on Stars, Rare American Flag, Antique Flag

1908, 46-Star American Flag with Sewn on Stars
Wonderful find this early version of the United States Flag with only 46-stars.
On November 16, 1907, Oklahoma became the 46th state which added a new star to the American Flag, the 46-star flag was in use until January 6, 1912, New Mexico became the 47th state. Even though Oklahoma became a state in 1907 the 46th star was not added until the unveiling on July 4,1908.

This is an original flag from that time-period, it is made from cotton and each stripe, and each star is sewn in place (it's not a silkscreen flag).
The overall condition is particularly good for its age, one of the best shown for sale. It has one small tear and a couple tiny hole (we show all the wear in the pictures) the white on the flag shows light yellowing from age.
This 116-year-old flag needs a deserving home, which will cherish and honor it.

Circa, 1908-1912
Measures, actual size 42” x 71”
