We have for sale Vintage 1940 Six Inch Wilcox & Crittenden Ships Compass
This solid brass compass comes from Fort Meyers Florida area, it is marked on the bottom 3-40 (March 1940) Made in USA, these would have been mounted at the ships helm or in a portable wood box.
This is in wonderful condition for its age; we have not cleaned any of the wonderful 75 years of patina from the brass, does has a little surface rust inside but can be cleaned.
It is very accurate, and fully functional, measures 6” across the outside ring.
