We have for sale an Antique 1867 No. 1 Roller Cork Press
Made by the Enterprise Manufacturing Company
You wont see these very often, if you know someone that collects Apothecary items this is a must have.
You would have found these in drugstores and pharmacy’s in the 1800s you would place a small wet cork in the press lower the handle until the cork compressed to the right size then place cork into the bottle and the cork would expand and seal the bottle.
Enterprise made two sizes of these presses #1 and #2, the #1 is the smaller version.
Measures 9" long and 4" tall, Very nice condition for 150 years old
Condition is very good for its age as it was used.
