We have for sale an Antique 1800s English Henshall Style Button Corkscrew
This is an extremely beautiful mid to late 1800s English Henshall style corkscrew with wonderful turned wood handle over the matched turned steel shank followed by the wire helix. The button or also known as an Easer just above the helix helps release the cork from the bottle once the worm (helix) is turned into the cork and the button touches the cork you give it a couple more turns and the button twist the cork releasing the seal between the cork and bottle making it much easier to remove the cork.

Measures; 6” long, 3.75” wide at handle.
Condition; Wonderful with only minor ware. A truly beautiful piece.
