We have for sale Two Antique Hoosier Cabinet Colonial Style Canister Spice Jars
These are spice jars from an early 1900s Hoosier Cabinet. Each jar has its own characteristics including the bubbles in the glass. First jar has a purplish hue do to the manganese dioxide use to make the glass, manganese dioxide was only used between 1880-1920. Second jar has a greenish hue from the iron-oxide impurities found in the glass during that same era.
The two jars have their original lids which are in somewhat poor condition appears the original owner may have added holes to sift the spices through.
The overall condition of the jars is fair with scuffs, scratches and a couple small rim chips.

Measures; purplish hue 5-1/8" tall 2-3/8" diameter, greenish hue 5" tall 2-5/8" diameter
