We have for sale a Vintage 1940s Evans Spitfire Cigarette Lighter and Case
Wonderful 1940s Nickel-plated Cigarette Case with built in Lighter made by Evans. This is Evans Spitfire series lighter manufactures between 1940-1949, comes in original box this lighter is in wonderful condition and has a spot on the front of the case to engrave a name or initials.
Patent RE 19023 original patent filed Oct 26 1923 & 1933.
The case is designed for a 70mm or 2 3/4" cigarette, filterless cigarettes. The filter tipped cigarette came out in the late 1950's.

Condition: Good with some corrosion on the inside of case. Box shows light wear. No flint or fluid in lighter.
