We have for sale an Antique Corticelli Embroidery Hoop Holder, Dec 11th 1900.
Wonderful rare find this cast iron Embroidery Hoop Holder made by Corticelli and patented Dec, 11,1900. This hoop clamps down to a table surface or other surface then you could place your embroidery hoop into the clamp and hold in place allowing both hands to be free for stitching. Holder is in very fine condition and works as designed, original paint has mostly all worn off over the past 120 years but the holder is very clean and can be repainted if desired. Clean and ready to use or display in your sewing room.

The Corticelli Company of Florence, Massachusetts was founded 1838 and closed in 1930. Known around the world for their silk thread and other sewing notions. Still today known as some of the worlds finest silk thread.

Measures, 6 ½” wide, 5 ½” depth, surface clamp opens to 1 1/8” Hoop clamp opens to 5/8” and can hold almost any diameter hoop.
Condition, Very good as described above, original black paint is all gone. Please see all pictures.
