1920s Dainty Folding Corkscrew, Miniature Corkscrew
Wonderful and hard to find the Dainty Folding Corkscrew made by the Vaughan Company of Chicago, ILL. This little corkscrew was made in approximately the 1920s it has Patent applied for stamped on it, but no patent was very issued for it. These were handy pocket size corkscrews often a giveaway promotional item with company advertisements on them.
This is marked “Dainty Folding Corkscrew”.
This corkscrew was probably not made to open a wine bottle its way to small, most likely intended for opening beer bottles or household products of that period.
Highly Collectible.
Circa, 1920s
Measures 1 ¾” long closed, 3” wide when open.
Marked, Vaughan Chicago, Pat. Appld.
Condition, exceptionally good.
