We have for sale an Antique L. L. Bedortha Cigar Length Cutter,
Very rare and hard to find Cigar Tuck Cutter made by the L. L. Bedortha of Windsor CT. A Tuck Cutter was used to cut the length of the cigar after it was rolled. This cutter was named the Hex Cutter it has a six-sided cutting blade that can be rotated to match the diameter of the cigar being cut. The cutter also has a lower blade which has two different diameter cutting sizes. You would have simple set the cigar in the groove on the wood base and press down on the cutter arm. The top of the wood base is marked with measurements 3” to 6” and with the name L. L. Bedortha Windsor CT., the name is worn and hard to read.
Circa, 1920s
Measures, 8” long, 3 ½” depth at cutter end.
Condition: Shows wear from use with metal discoloration and missing adjustable length stop. Please see all pictures.
