We have for sale an Antique Lightning Putnam Fruit Jar
Wonderful find this Lightning Fruit Jar made in the 1890s by Henry William Putnam, patented in1882, Patent# 256,857. This jar is in a light aqua blue color and has the name in raised lettering on the front
(Trade Mark Lightning Registered U.S. Patent Office)
the bottom of the jar reads (Putnam 4) the number 4 is the mold location number, the glass lid is marked Lightning Pat. April 25, 1892.
The jar has bubbles in the glass and the rim of the jar has a ground edge, very typical for this time period.

Measures, 8” tall, 3 ¾” diameter at base.
Condition, wonderful condition with normal wear, couple flea bite chips on rim. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
