We have for sale an Antique Willson Amber Tinted Driving Sunglasses
Wonderful pair of Amber lensed motoring goggles made by Willson of Reading Pennsylvania. These were designed for use with open motorcars, motorcycles, and airplanes. The Amber tinted lens which were designed to cut the glare and haze. Just Imagine bumping down the road in your model T ford wearing these awesome glasses.
The lens are made of tempered glass with amber tinting and the frames are nickel platted steel, the temples are made of springs and highly flexible. The temples fold around to the front of the glasses and the mesh side protectors fold to the inside of the glasses for storage.
Circa, early 1920s
Measures, lens 1 7/8” diameter, nose bridge is 7/8” wide.
Condition, wonderful vintage condition with minor scuffs and scratches, and discoloration on metal. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
