We have for sale a large bulk vintage matching 7/8” Bakelite Burnt Orange Color Buttons.
Wonderful mid-century clothing buttons, color is a burnt orange color with a cream-colored outer edging. We estimate there are around 400+ buttons in the box. They were with several boxes that are 1940’s vintage. Perfect for a craft project, scrapbooking, craft, jewelry making or matching costumes or uniforms. Box is labeled Pearlite Button (this is not the original box for these button). Front of buttons are in good condition, some of the backs of buttons show sole and edge chips.
Buttons are made of Bakelite / Catalin plastic, tested.

History,
Bakelite’s patent ran out in 1927, the process was picked up by the American Catalin Company which called their version of the plastic Catalin.

Measures, 7/8” diameter
Condition, Buttons are old stock some show dirt, Box is in vintage condition, shows wear.
