We have for sale an Antique Tobacco Harvesting Axe and Tobacco Sticking Spikes.
Wonderful display board with two Tobacco Harvesting Axe’s and two Tobacco Sticking Spikes. These were used to cut down the tobacco plants during harvesting, and the metal spike would have been placed on top of tobacco stalk hanging stick to ease in sticking the plants for drying in the tobacco barns. The display is very rustic the board was repurposed and has a couple small holes from its previous life, the board has a hook on the back for hanging the display on the wall. The axes and spikes are original from the late 1800s early 1900s. These items are extremely sharp.
