We have for sale an Antique Brass Swedish Horse Bell
Wonderful late 1800s Swedish Horse Bell made of solid brass hanging on one-inch-wide leather belt. This bell would have been worn around the horse’s neck or it may have been use as a very expensive cow bell.
Swedish sleigh bells are a unique bell and are a very large bell with lovely deep and loud tones. The bells are unique because of the six pie shaped slices formed by the narrow throats (lines at the top of the bell) that were cut into the bell rather than cast like other bells.
This bell is 3” in diameter and has a lovely sound, the leather strap is 36” long and fastened with a very old Conway style buckle (Conway buckle were used on horse harnesses and tack).

Measures, strap is 36” long, Bell is 3” in diameter.
Condition, Vintage as found with tarnish and wear from age, dents, and dings, leather is dry but solid.
