We have for sale an Antique Greenfield Mason jar w/ shepherd crook
Wonderful find this 1902 blue glass Mason fruit jar made by the Greenfield Fruit Jar and Bottle Company of Greenfield Indiana.
The jar is unique the upper section is covered in lines and bubbles through out the jar. The lines are formed during manufacturing when the molten glass is injected into a jar mold that is to cold, the molten glass cools to quickly and hardens forming the lines in the glass, these can only be felt on the inside of the jar.
This jar is blue glass with zinc lid. The design below the Mason name is known as the shepherd crook, these jar were only made between 1902-1906.

History,
The Greenfield Fruit Jar and Bottle Company of Greenfield Indiana was purchase by Ball Canning Jars November 20th, 1909.

Circa, 1902-1906
Marked, Mason
Measures, 6 ½” tall, 3 7/8” diameter at base.
Condition, normal scuffs, and scratches, couple chips on rim.
