We have for sale an Antique 1887 Williamson's Wire Corkscrew
Wonderful 1800s corkscrew made by the Williamsons Company of Newark N.J.
The corkscrew is known a T-handle corkscrew with wire screw above the corkscrew is a spiral button. When the button hits the cork it gives the cork a twist helping release the bond between the bottle and cork marking the removal of the cork easier. Corkscrew is marked Williamson's on the wire on top of the handle.

This design of corkscrew was patented by the Williamson Company of Newark NJ on June 1, 1887. Williamson was one of the largest corkscrew manufacturers in the USA at that time frame.

Measure, 5 ¾” tall, 4 ¼” wide at handle.
Condition, good with normal wear from use, some plating lose, handle has staining and dings.
