We have for sale an Antique American Designed Edward Haff Corkscrew.
Edward Haff corkscrew patented in 1885. Has a steel screw attached to a wood handle, above the corkscrew is a steel button, which stop the screw at top of bottle.
This is a pre Patent Design corkscrew.
History,
Brooklyn, New York, April 14, 1885 - Edward P. Haff has been granted United States Patent Number 315,773 for his invention entitled "Corkscrew".
Circa, 1880s
Marked, Patent Applied For
Measure, 5 ¼” tall, 4” wide at handle.
Condition, fair with slight bend at handle, plating has surface rust, handle has ding and dents.
