We have for sale a 4 Antique Bakelite / Catalin Buttons, Burnt Orange Color
We have tested these, and they do appear to be Bakelite / Catalin plastic in a burnt orange color, with cat eye center, they measure 1-1/32” diameter.
Perfect for a craft project, scrapbooking, craft, jewelry making or matching costumes or uniforms.
Buttons measure, 1-1/32” diameter
History,
Bakelite’s patent ran out in 1927, the process was picked up by the American Catalin Company which called their version of the plastic Catalin.
