We have for sale an Italian ANRI Corkscrew
Wonderful highly collectible hand carver Anri woodcarving. This is a Cheerful Monk with a button nose corkscrew. Anri made several different types of barware corkscrews, this is considered a standalone piece with tapered shoulders / waistline that led down to the corkscrew. These were made in the 1920-1960s this one was made around the 1920.
History,
The Carving is made by ANRI they have been in business for over 110 years and made in Italy, these are hand carved and painted no two pieces were ever alike.
Circa, 1920s
Measures, 5 ¼” tall, 1 ¾” wide at the shoulders.
Condition, very nice condition with minor wear on finish, chip on collar, some discoloration on the steel.
