RED WING History,
When the Red Wing Logo was first developed in 1906 it was 6-inches long. Around 1915, the size of the wing was reduced to 4-inches and at the start of 1930’s the wing was again reduced to 2-inches long.
If a crock has a Patent Date of 1915 on it but has a 2-inch wing it was made after 1930. The Patent date only means that was when that style crock was first produced.
