Prohibition Era 1930s Demley’s Old Snifter Corkscrew and Bottle Opener.
Wonderful Prohibition Era Barware piece. This is Demley’s OLD SNIFTER made by the Heller Company Chicago ILL. Made in remembrance of Andrew Volstead, Volstead is sometimes called the "Father of Prohibition.

This is Demley’s OLD SNIFTER in a Chrome finish. It came in three finishes a polished chrome, bronze finish, and a silver-plated finish and is made of metal. The corkscrew pops out the backside of his trench coat, his nose and chin form a bottle opener and his top hat is removable, not sure why, some say to store toothpicks? Has its original felt on the bottom.
