We have for sale a S. & A. Haddad Phoenix Bird, Barware Set
Stunning Barware set made by S & A Haddad Cutlery and made in Jezzine, Lebanon. This is a four-piece set including Corkscrew, Bottle Opener, Cocktail Spoon and Straining Spoon. The beautiful Phoenix Bird handles are made of black buffalo horn with inlaid silver cross pattern on back with inlaid red- and turquoise-colored stones, the wings are brass with inlaid red, blue, black stones and a silver center inlay.
This is an exquisite set from the 1960s era which is in near new condition, it has most likely never been used.

History,
S&A Haddad Cutlery originated in the town of Jezzine in South Lebanon; the Haddad family’s traditional cutlery started in the year 1770. In 1930, the Haddad family creating handles with bird heads made of bones and buffalos' horns. These handles were inlaid with colored bones, brass and silver these were applied to stainless steel utensils.

Circa, 1950-60s
Measurements, corkscrew 3 ½” bottle opener 5 ½” spoon 9 ¾” straining spoon 8 ¼” long.
Condition, like new, may have never been used. Outer case has a couple scuffs as shown.
