1949 Coleman Lantern with Storage Case Model 220D and Coleman Accessories

We have for sale a 1949 Coleman 220D Lantern with Storage Case
Wonderful Camping lantern made by the Coleman Company. This lantern was manufactured in 1949.
It is a double mantel lantern with a porcelain ventilator and nickel-plated fount (fuel tank) and its original storage case.

This lantern has a couple add-ons,
At the base of the lantern is a Detachable Storage Compartment or Accessory Safe, also added was a Spark Igniter (it still works). Inside the Detachable Storage Compartment, we have a new unused 220E5891 Generator with wrench.

History,
This style double mantel lantern was manufactured by Coleman in 1947 to 1951. In 1951 Coleman did away with the nickel-plated fount (fuel tank) and went with the green painted to match the green porcelain ventilator hood.

Measures, 15” tall with handle down.
Condition, good used condition. Ventilator Hood, porcelain has a couple edge chips and scuffs from storage case. Fount has scuffs and scratches. Storage case as shown. This has not been tested, selling AS IS.
