Zenith Egg Grader Scale
Wonderful Egg Scale made by the Zenith Company of Earlville N.Y.
This Zenith scale is made of a cast iron base and counterweight with aluminum egg dish and scale guide and a brass needle indicator. It has its original blue and red paint.

History,
The Zenith Egg Scale was made from the 1920s till the 1980s, it had several variations. The most noticeable variation was the base of the scale, the original had a flat base (they did not have the two front feet under the base) the two feet showed up in the 1940s. Another noteworthy variation was the raised lettering on the base of the scale, in 1948 they changed the wording from (Zenith Egg Grading Scale Earlville N.Y) to (Zenith Egg Grader Earlville N.Y, U.S.A.) This label was used until 1964. The company changed ownership in 1964 and the label changed to (Zenith Egg Grader).
