Wonderful service award given out to school children who volunteered their time to the America Legion.
The award reads American Legion School Award, For God and Country, it is made of solid bronze and weighs 6oz.
This award is 100 years old this year.
History,
The American Legion is a U.S. war veterans organization headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. It began in Paris, France, March of 1919, just after WWI.

Condition, very nice condition and very clean.
