Antique Triple L Logo Ball Fruit Jar with Zinc Lid, Blue ½ Gallon / 64oz Size.
Wonderful find a true collector piece a 64oz Ball Fruit Jar. The marking on this jar dates it to have been made between1900-1910, it is known as a Triple L or 3-L logo design, the loop after the last (L) looks like another (L).
These jars were molded using a two-piece manufacturing method the top threaded rim was placed onto the base while it was still molten glass. Also note this a low shoulder jar which also dates it turn of the century. The base on the jar is marked # 4.
The jar is in wonderful condition with bubbles and lines in the glass.
Circa, 1900-1910
Measures, 9” tall x 4 ½” diameter.
Marked, Ball
Condition, Very good with no cracks, light scratches on outside and base.
