We have for sale a Vintage Italian Advertising Corkscrew.
Wonderful find this one-lever or waiters style advertising corkscrew made by Paul A. Henckels of Solingen Germany, not to be mistaken for J.A. Henckels (Johann Abraham Henckels) of Solingen Germany. The corkscrew is made of steel with brass overlay case on both sides. The corkscrew is known as a bladed worm design which is sharp on the outer edge allowing it to cut through the cork with ease.
The corkscrew has advertising on both sides of the case reads,
Orvieto BIGI, BIGI DI Lusso Orvieto (BIGI DI LUXURY Orvieto)
The Orvieto Classico DOC appellation was established in 1931 by the Italian Government; its vineyards cover the central and best areas of Orvieto. Those areas are the source of the grapes for Bigi’s Orvieto.

Condition, vintage with dents at the end as shown in pictures.
