Thank you for viewing our Store,

We have for sale a Pair of Antique Mexican Charro Spurs
Wonderful find these Charro Spurs turn from the century 1900. The Mexican word Charro means horseman or cowboy. These are made of heavy forged steel with a decorative pattern on the outside of the heel band and the shank, the design was plated with silver overlay along with the massive 3” eight-point rowel. The overall condition of these is good for their age, as you can see the silver overlay is heavily worn but still visible. The right boot spur has had the rowel pin replaced with what appears to be a nail cut to length (cowboy engineering, use what you have available).

History,
Original Charro Rowel Spurs circa 1890–1920. This type of spur, with their thick and rounded heel band, were very popular among Mexican charros in the late 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century.
Marked, none
Condition, very solid no cracks or breaks in metal.
Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
