We have for sale an Antique Dressel Railroad Lantern for the GNRY
Wonderful find this Railroad Lantern made by the Dressel Railway Lamp Works of Arlington New Jersey. The lantern was used by the Great Northern Railway and stamped in raised lettering G.N.R.Y. (Great Northern Railway Yard). The Great Northerns’ route was the northernmost transcontinental railroad route in the U.S.
Lantern in made of metal with red glass globe (may not be the original globe) and brass burner. The paint looks original, bottom was painted red at some point. We have cleaned and oiled the lantern; it appears to have only been used a few times it is in wonderful condition.

Marked, GNRY
Condition, very good for age, couple dents and dings, red globe has chips on the rim, as shown in pictures.
