Antique 1925 Radynola Radio with Victor Leader Load Speaker.
Wonderful find this 1925 tube style radio made by American Radynola and the load speaker made by Victor.
This style radio was made to use with an external battery, yes one of the first portable radios, only weighing in at mere 18 pounds without the battery.
These radios where only around for a few years once the new styles come out these went to the barn never to be seen again.
These radios are extremely rare, and especially hard to find it intact, this radio appears to be complete and untouched inside with all its RCA chrome tubes intact.
Overall condition is very good with the case being very solid and strong, case does show external wear nicks and dings, the wiring on the backside of the radio is original and worn. The Load Speaker is in good condition with no dents in the horn, it does appear to have had some repairs? around the base with the attach points, the paint on the base has crinkling and lose, the wiring is original and worn.
We are not radio experts at all and know very little about the system, selling as is.

Speaker, 24” tall, base diameter 8” cone diameter 13½”.
Condition; as described, untested sold as is.
