We have for sale a vintage Singer 221-1 portable featherweight sewing machine and carrying case. Serial # AL005157. The machine badge was issued on August 11, 1952, and was manufactured in Elizabethsport, NJ, USA. It has an original 110-volt motor and beautiful chrome trim. The machine, case, and attachments are all in good vintage condition. We’ve had several machines in the last few years and this one purrs. The case is in good vintage condition showing wear, consistent with age and use.
This is a very nice machine finished in that classic deep gorgeous shiny black featherweight paint, gold decals and chrome trim. Please see all photos as they are part of the item’s description.
**We have thoroughly cleaned and serviced this machine and replaced any worn or faulty parts. Parts replaced, Electrical Cord.

Overall Condition of the MACHINE, runs and operates smoothly, has wear from use on sewing bed, scuffs, and scratches, small paint chips (as shown in pictures). CASE, clasps work smoothly, very structurally solid.
