Vintage Hand Forged Branding Iron, Letter (F) Branding Iron.
This is an original branding iron used to brand horses and cattle in Western South Dakota. It is a hand forged iron with the large Letter (F). The red tint on the brand is from being heated over and over.
This was found in Southwestern South Dakota.
Measures, 44 ½” long, F = 2 ¼” x 3” tall, weighs 3.14 pounds.
Condition, very solid no brakes or cracks true vintage piece.
