Vintage 1950s Johnson Centennial Bait-Casting Fishing Reel
Wonderful find this old fishing reel a 1950s Johnson Centennial green & black closed face bait-casting reel manufactured by the Denison-Johnson Inc., of Mankato Minnesota. This reel is made of cast aluminum body with black crinkle finish, the green face cover is also aluminum is in overall in wonderful condition and with original directions.
The reel is, as found minus some dirt and dust, we have not serviced or dismantled the reel. It does seem to work fine, and the drag works also.
