1951 Singer Centennial 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine, Cleaned and Serviced

1951 Singer Centennial 221 featherweight sewing machine with carrying case, fully cleaned, and serviced Serial Number AK577733.
The Centennial badge machine was made to commemorate the 100 years of Singer Manufacturing Company being in business. Sold for one year in 1951 with the badge inscription: “A Century of Sewing Service 1851-1951”.
The machine badge was issued on October 31, 1951, and was manufactured in Elizabethsport, NJ, USA. It has an original 110-volt motor and beautiful chrome trim. The machine, case, and attachments are all in good vintage condition. We’ve had several machines in the last few years and this one purrs. The case is in good vintage condition showing wear, consistent with age and use.
This is a very nice machine finished in that classic deep gorgeous shiny black featherweight paint, gold decals and chrome trim. Please see all photos as they are part of the item’s description.
**We have thoroughly cleaned and serviced this machine and replaced any worn or faulty parts. This machine was in wonderful condition and only needed a little TLC and a Motor Belt, the electrical cord was replaced by its original owner at some point.

Overall Condition,
MACHINE, runs and operates smoothly, does show wear, sewing bed shows scuffs, and scratches, paint chips and paint touchup at base (as shown in pictures).
CASE, is worn on corners but very structurally solid, some scuffs as shown.
