1949 Little Betty Sewing Machine IOB
Magnificent Condition, this beautiful bright red Little Betty child’s sewing machine, made by the Straco Toy Company of England.
It was manufactured after WW2 and made between 1948-1950 they came in a variety of colors with the most collectable being red, blue and green. This machine comes in its original cardboard box, instructions, one extra needle and wood spool with black thread.
This size of machine was not a toy as they were designed for children to learn how to sew - perfect size for making doll clothes. It uses a single thread that produces a chain stitch.
This machine is as beautiful as the pictures show!!

Circa, 1940s
Measures, 6” tall, 7” base is 4” x 6½”
Condition, wonderful condition, has minor paint loss around base and by the spool holder, does not come with the hold down clamp.
