Antique 1800s Wooden Box Style Coffee Grinder, Coffee Bean Grinder
Wonderful mid-1800s box style coffee bean grinder. This is an old one
Circa, 1850-70s, made of oak hardwood box with cast iron grinder and tin dome which covers the grinder.
The pull-out catch drawer is made with dovetail construction corners and a steel push-pin style knob.
One of the interesting things on this one is the hopper that holds the beans is made of wood.
The grinder is clean and grinds very nicely. It is adjustable to grind beans coarse or fine.
The box condition is rustic, and the wood is warped in spots with dents and chips a true antique.
Circa, 1850-70s
Measures, box is 6” x 6” x 5” tall, overall, 8 ½” tall.
