Sun Manufacturing Wood Coffee Mill No. 1080, Coffee Grinder
A wonderful find, this late 1800s wood coffee bean grinder made by the Sun Manufacturing Company of Greenfield Ohio.
Made of wood with cast iron grinder and hardware, has a removable pull-out catch drawer. The wood frame is very well made with dovetail corner construction. The grinder is fully adjustable to grind the beans fine or coarse by adjusting the nit just below the crank handle. The grinder is extremely clean inside and out ready for display or to grind coffee for the morning.

In 1888 John M. Waddell founded the John M. Waddell Manufacturing Co. He formed a partnership with Edward L. McClain around 1898-1900 and changed the company name to Sun Manufacturing Co. The company moved from Greenfield, Ohio, to Columbus in 1904 and manufactured coffee mills there until about 1920.

Circa, 1890-1900
