1940s 14-inch Compton Shears, Tailor Shears, Seamstress Shears
Wonderful pair of 1940s Shears made by the W.H. Compton Shear Company of Newark New Jersey.
These measure 14¼” long and operate as smoothly as the day they were made.
They are marked U-Set Compton Patd, 1941, USA. No 88U, 14. The cutting blade measures 8½” long.
Overall condition is very good with some chrome plating loose on the outer edges of blade as shown, normal scuffs and scratches from use.
Shears come in original paper wrapping.

This pair of taylor shears was wonderfully preserved and in tiptop condition. They are so lovely and arrived very quickly!
