Antique 19th Century Wooden Olive Press
We have a 19th century countertop size olive press or fruit press.
The press is made of hardwood with a 6-inch wooden screw, down the center which rest on a wooden press plate inside the tin catch basin. The frame of the press is designed with two hollow wooden pillars, in which a 7-inch-long carriage bolt runs through attaching to a square nut on the bottom side of the press.
These were used in the kitchen to press olives and other fruits to gather the oils and juices for cooking.
This will make an amazing conversation piece in your kitchen. Original origan was Europe, France, or Italy.
As with all our antiques we recommend they be treated as antiques and not used as an everyday item, there are precious few unique antiques left in the world.

Circa, 1850-1900
Measures, 12” tall, 7” wide, 4¼” depth.
Condition, very nice condition, the wooden screw has a couple chips on the threads. The carriage bolts are a little loose, could be due to the dry winter weather.
Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
