1940s Oscar Crockett Western Spurs

1940s Western Spurs by Oscar Crockett
Amazing condition on this pair of Oscar Crockett cowboy spurs. The spurs are both marked (Crockett) and have scroll etching on the outer Head Band and Shank. The Rowel is a 1½” diameter nine-point star with rounded tips and the shanks also have a built-in Chap Guard and the heal band / yoke has about a 3-inch spread.

History,
One of the better-known names when it comes to antique and vintage western spurs. Oscar Crockett Spurs have been around since the 1920s starting in Kansas City, Oscar passed away in 1949. Oscar’s wife Hazel continued to operate the company until 1951 when she sold it to James Renalde which branded the spurs (CR) Crockett-Renalde, the company finally closed in the 1980s.

Condition, they are use but show very little wear, need a good cleaning.
