Antique 1920s Red Wing Union Stoneware Two Gallon Crock 2-inch Red Wing Logo
Wonderful Red Wing Crock made by the Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. of Red Wing Minnesota.
This is known as a 2-gallon Red Wing with 2” Wing and a number 7 Standard Oval.
The blue oval logo below the red wing logo helps date this crock to somewhere between 1918 and 1930.
Overall condition is very good with only the normal manufacturing blemishes. The spots you see on the outside of the crock are glazing blemishes very common in older crockery. We look at manufacturing blemishes as distinguishing marks that separate one crock from another and make it a one of a kind.

Marked, Red Wing Pottery.
Measurements, 9¾” tall, 9½” diameter at top rim, weighs 9.4 pounds. Condition, very nice for age, has the normal manufacturing blemishes.
