Vintage Detex Guardsman Clock
Wonderful retro Security Guard / Night Watchmen’s, Security Clock made by the Detex Corporation USA.
These were used by security guards as they did their rounds checking doors and gates, at each location there would be a key, the key would be inserted into the clock marking the exact time the guard was at that location. These are still made today just not this style.
The clock is in its original heavy leather case with leather carrying strap.
The clock has had the back hinge cut open for some reason, we are selling AS IS.
Circa, 1930-40s
Marked, DETEX
Measures, 7” diameter.
Condition, AS Found worn.
