Antique 18th Century Fireplace Tools
Amazing find in Savannah Georgia, these fabulous hand forged Iron Fireplace Tools. These date back to the late 1700s when items like this were hand made to order from the blacksmith.
Each piece is exquisitely made by hand, if you look closely at the spiral twisted loop of the handles you can see the hammer marks were the craftsman heated and forged the iron into a perfect loop. Each piece of this set is worthy of a full page of description, just like the horsehair whisk broom and ash shovel, hammered and forged into the perfect shape.
This is a stately set standing 37” tall and 16½” wide, they will fit perfectly in your great room or library.

Circa, 1890-1920s
Found near Savannah Georgia.
Measurements,
Stand is 37” tall, 16½” wide at top.
Tongs are 29” long.
Poker is 30½” long.
Broom is 21” long.
Shovel is 29” long, 6¾” wide at base.
Condition is excellent, painted black at some point, Tongs, and Poker show minimal surface rust (this will come off once the tools are used again)
