Wonderful find this 1880s English corkscrew (The Victor) believed to be designed influenced by Georg Twigg’s 1867 patented corkscrew.
A meticulously crafted, genuine 1880s English Corkscrew that has stood the test of time. This exquisite artifact is not just a corkscrew; it's a work of art and a statement of refinement. Operation: The corkscrew has a fixed fly nut at the top of the shaft which is turned clockwise to screw into the cork once seated into the cork turn the second handle clockwise to lift the cork from the bottle.
