Antique Cast Iron Inkwell Nautical Theme Design Inkwell
Beautiful nautical theme Inkwell stand with a tilting glass Inkwell. The glass inkwell is shaped like a shell, tip it upwards to seal the inkwell and tip downwards to access the inkwell. At the top of the stand are pen rests for storing the pens. Made of cast iron pen stand painted in a brass finish with clear glass inkwell. Wood stick only shows pen placement.
The picture of the catalog ad is from July of 1910 showing this Inkwell design. (not included in purchase).
Circa, 1910s
Measures 4¼” tall, 4½” depth, 2½” width.
Condition, very nice condition, glass rim has a couple flea bite chips.
