Pair of Vintage Tooled Leather Cowboy Cuffs, Branded 7-7
What are Cowboy Cuffs also sometimes called wrist cuffs these are used for protection against brush, to protect your shirt sleeves from wear, and to keep a rope from fouling in your shirt sleeves.
This pair has a hand tooled chain-link design in leather, each cuff has two large silver-colored rivets and one large brass snap at the wrist end.
This old Cowboy had his Brand stamped into topside of each Cuff (7-7).
The picture in the listing is only to show how a Cowboy would wear these, not included in sale.

History,
The 7-7 Brand belonged to Joe Clinton a cattle rancher located in Hill City South Dakota starting in the mid-1950s, before that the brand belonged to Elba & Ethel Williams also of Hill City South Dakota. The brand would have been placed at the RRC = Right Rib Cattle.

Measures, 7” long.
Condition, leather is pliable, each cuff has the center rivet pulled through the leather as shown in the pictures.
